Back in December we celebrated MaKena’s 2nd birthday. (I know I’m really behind on my pictures. I promise to get caught up in the next week!) She had a great party and had lots of fun playing with her cousins. MaKena got a lot of nice gifts. I’m not sure what her favorite was because she loved every gift she opened. The best part was she knew exactly what to do with the bags and presents. She didn’t need much help from me!
Earlier in the day I made a couple cakes for the party. Jacob helped me crack the eggs and beat the cake mix. He really likes to help me when I’m baking. When we were finished beating the mix I let the kids clean the beaters. I remember my mom used to let us do that when I was growing up and I love it! I think MaKena got more on her face and hands than she did in her mouth but it looked like she was enjoying herself!

MaKena got some Fisher Price Little People from Jen, Nate and Emma. Notice the green pants MaKena has on, she got those from the Buchwitz's. They are jammie pants and she loved them so much she had to put them on right away!
