If you ask MaKena who her best buddy is she’ll say Anna. Anna is Beth and Eric Mauch’s (good friends of ours) 4 year old daughter. They live 2 houses from us and the girls used to go to daycare together. A few weeks ago Beth asked me if MaKena would like to join Anna for friend’s night at dance class. I knew MaKena would love it so I said yes. I was right, she had a blast. The girls were in a little room with about 20 other girls with a couple teachers. The parents got to watch through a window. The friends got to participate with the girls in the class and they even got to wear tap shoes. It was cute. When the class was all done I thought MaKena was going to have fit when they took her shoes off (I think she would have wore them home if she could). Thankfully she didn’t. She had a lot of fun. I wouldn’t be surprised if MaKena wants to be in dance. Hopefully we can hold off on that for a few years!! Thanks Anna for inviting us! It was a lot of fun!
