Our new little soccer star!

Earlier this summer we signed MaKena up for fall soccer.  She's wanted to play soccer for a long time, just like her big brother.  We ended up getting placed on the same team as 3 of our neighbor kids.  MaKena was so excited.  We had to get her pink soccer shoes and a pink ball.  I can honestly say I don't think she really knew what she was doing out there the first few weeks but it sure was fun watching her run around.  She had 6 games this fall.  It was fun watching her at her games.  We'd sit on the sidelines and cheer her on and she'd run by us with a big smile on her face.  I'm not sure what she thought about the whole experience but I really hope she liked it enough to play again next spring.
