This year for Halloween we carved a couple pumpkins with the kids. This was the first year MaKena has carved a pumpkin and she was all excited until she saw the stuff inside the pumpkin. She was a little hesitant at first but once she saw Jacob dig in she slowly decided it was OK. She had a lot fun and had to show us all the gunk she got out each time. Both kids picked out a face or a design they wanted on their pumpkin and Lane and I did the carving. Both pumpkins turned out really nice. Hopefully we can carve pumpkins again next year!
