Halloween

For Halloween this year Jacob dressed up as the Scream guy and MaKena went as a cowgirl. I can't take credit for Jacob's costume as I didn't buy it..............we'll just leave it at that! Thankfully the weather cooperated and it was a nice night to be outside. After we ate a quick supper Lane and I took the kids out trick-or-treating. Actually, we took MaKena out and Jacob met up with his friends and we didn't see him until he was done trick-or-treating. MaKena was excited to go trick-or-treating. Many times she'd ring the door bell and say trick-or-treat before they got the door open. And then she'd say Thank You as she was walking away. She was so excited to get to the next house. By the time the night was done both kids had a full bag of candy that probably won't get eaten!

One of our neighbors has this blow-up cat in their front yard every year for Halloween. MaKena wanted to get her picture taken with it again this year.
